Training for your first Sprint or perfecting your Olympic distance triathlon event.
Training includes run, bike & swim sessions, Brick sessions and transition training. It’s more fun with a group.

Run Monday 6:30pm & Wednesday 6:15am

SWIM
- Sprint 750m / Olympic 1500m

Swim sessions will be held at the Radium Hot Pools and lake swims for spring clinic. All swim session for the summer clinic will be lake swims. Lake Windermere, Wasa and Lake Lillian will be generally used.

BIKE – Sprint 20km / Olympic 40km

Bike sessions will be done at the track, Westside Road, Hwy 93 (to Fairmont and some rides near WASA) and the road to Panorama.

RUN – Sprint 5km / Olympic 10km

Run sessions will coincide with running clinic times. Participants will join groups that are applicable to their running level.


Brick Workouts and Mock Races


Brick workouts and mock races include combining 2 or more of the three disciplines of the triathlon. Brick workouts are an excellent way to prepare the body for multi sport activity and fine-tune the transitions.

Examples of BRICK sessions would include combining run, bike and/or swim components to any one given session. This will prepare the muscles (legs) and the mind for race day.
